The test of fidelity

Relationships come in many forms.
While many people discuss relationships between individuals, families and social groups; I propose that employees and their employers have responsibilities to each other.

What is the relationship of employee to employer today?
How has it changed for you over the past three years?
What should this relationship be?

I have my opinion, we should continue the symbiotic relationship where business thrives to the benefit of all.

I look forward toward your thoughts.

  1. I think it depends on the company and how they treat their employees to see how they will be treated. For instance, I worked for a large local healthcare company that treated their employees like crap. I don't think they should expect that I be loyal or have any expectations from me. On the other hand, the company I work for now is different. They try to treat us right and because of that, our teammates tend to be more loyal and work harder for the company. I have to be honest, I love it here and hope that I can continue for many more years to come (13 and counting).
